Hi Everyone
Having recently beeen bitten by the mac bug, and bought not just a G4
Powermac but also a G3 Ibook, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good internet guides to starting a mac network, as I'm a bit stuck.
I have a broadband router that both macs connect to via ethernet and wireless (not airport though) for internet access, and I'd also like to get the macs to talk to each other (e.g. share files, see each other's itunes files etc.) At the moment I can get them to see each other's drop box, but nothing else, and the 'sharing' options in system preferences seem to suggest that I can do all sorts of other things such as remote desktop and so on. I've looked at the Apple help files and website, but it's a bit confusing.
any ideas?
