mac programs for dvd conversion ?

hi guys,

i;ll be slowing migrating to macbook soon.
Just want to know from people here, what program allows me to convert a dvd movie into a .avi file, mp4, etc ?

Well Handbrake is the most widely used for that purpose but if you are making the move I recommend getting your hands on TOAST 9 for coping your home videos quickly
