Is the popping sound back??

27" iMac 2.7GHz Core i5, iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, 4th gen Apple TV
I'm starting to notice that annoying popping noise in my speakers again. It was a big issue with either 10.4.10 or .11 and then for a little while shortly after I upgraded to Leopard, and now it seems to be back. It happens a few seconds after I stop playing music or any sound on my MBP and it does it every time.

Anyone else noticing this problem?
