Imac G4 Unexpectedy Quits all the time!

I am new to this so I am not quite sure how all of this works. I bought my imac almost a yr ago. Just about a month ago my computer started giving me this error "This program has unexpectedly quit". I have looked online for help, but all I am finding is JUST safari quitting. In my case it is everything on my computer. Can someone please help!

The first thing I would try is repairing permissions (applications -> utilities -> disk utility). If you have loaded software or made changes to your system software it is a good ideas to repair permissions.

Have you made any changes to your system?

I have loaded software on my computer. Quite a bit actually. I will try that when I can get to my computer. Thanks for the help. I will let you know if it worked.
