How to disabling Safari's history list permanently?

I mean "disable" in the title, sorry about that...

I like Safari so much, I downloaded it at work on Windows XP. Sorry this is not exactly a Mac question.

To shut off the history list, I need to select Edit->Private Browsing every time I launch Safari. Well, not exactly. As long as one instance of Safari is running, the new instance will have private browsing turned on.

Is it possible to shut off this feature permanently?

There are two things you can do. One, you can lock the History plist file (located in User:Library:Safari) so that it can't get written to, effectively preventing it from ever being recorded to start with. The second thing you can do is use Firefox and set it to clear all information upon close.
