Due to recent HDD crash on our MacBook (go
HERE
) for detail), And since we lost our Tiger install discs, one of my friend offered his own copy of the two install discs. He feared that I wouldn't be able to use it since he had registered it already. I've also registered when we got it two years ago, so I think he might be right.

Can anyone clarify this issue for me? Thank you. :D

The software is only permitted to be on one machine at a time. Also, if the discs are for a different model, they wouldn't work anyway.

If you need the install discs, you can call Apple to see if they can ship a replacement. If they can't you can always find it on eBay, Craigslist, etc.
