Actually, I'll be new to Airport this weekend, my local Apple store is moving this week to a new location. Their inventory is almost nil right now, no Airport Extreme in stock.
I'm going to set up my G5 PowerMac (primary machine), my G4 PowerMac (my music room machine), a PowerPC G4 notebook, and a printer.
The PowerPC G4 notebook has an Airport card, the other machines do not. The card I need for the G5 is available. The card I need for the G4 PowerMac is not made any more so I need to find one NIB or used. What info do I need to gather to find out what card I need?
Does the printer need to be connected to one of the computers, or does it get a card/receiver unit and stands alone?
