Is there a specific way to make a note have a 'sliding' sound to it. (As if one is sliding his/her hand down a bass neck to go from a high note to low, without taking his/her hand off the string.)
Also:
When working with sustained notes, is there a way to make a note stop ringing after the next note has begun? I have been working with notes that are quickly repeating, and they sound like crap because you can always hear the last one ringing before the next one begins.
Anyone have any ideas?
