VPN IP question

Good morning. I have got a question regarding the VPN IP address. When I connect to the network I get my dummy IP address but when I VPN in it still shows the dummy IP address and not the new IP address. Is there a way to find out my new IP address. I'm not trying to get the outside IP address, I'm trying to find the inside address. If anyone has any idea could you let me know thanks.

Your VPN client software should tell you that. What are you using?
