After a while of research, and configuration, I got my LaserJet 2100 to print via a print server (parallel port), which I have configured thru the Print Center using AppleTalk.
Problem is, on the first page of each print job, is a blank sheet with a diamond ASCII character on the top left, followed by the print job.
I am using the GIMP-Print drivers for Generic PCL6, which the printer supports, but that character is killing me.
Even if I print thru my Win2K server (SMB) which shares out the printer, (it prints by IP to LPD port) I still get the same character on the first blank page.
Any ideas?
