I just switched to a Mac, and iTunes on the PC automatically would convert my WMA files to MP3. I tried dragging and dropping, and File>Import, but neither worked. Does iTunes support this, and if not is their an open-source option for converting WMA, OGG, and FLAC to MP3 or M4A?

iTunes doesn't convert WMA files on the mac cause the codecs that are required are windows only.

When i switched, I downloaded a program called Switch and left it over night to convert all of the WMAs I had copied over from my PC. Works brilliantly. 8)

I have used MAX to convert various formats - although not WMA, as I don't have music in that format.

It was very useful to convert my 24bit FLAC files.
