I just purchased a stereo headset with microphone--two actually, because I thought the first was defective. The device is plugged into the correct jacks and the mic is turned on but isn't picking up my voice.
For a very brief moment, the input level was actually registering sound, but it didn't last long. While testing the mic in the voice chat of my game, static was picked up, but not my voice.
Did I miss something? Is something missing?
