So, I just downloaded the new software update, and after disconnecting my ipod, I turned it on and was listening to some music, and I noticed the back was getting overly warm. I turned it off, and now it won't turn on. At all. I tried connecting it to the wall, the computer, holding the reset buttons, and nothing. No response whatsoever. Is it done for?

I'm no mac-genius, but I'd have to say that contacting the manufacturer would be a good start.

If you have an Apple store near you, I would start there. You will probably get a refurbished replacement right then and there.
