iBook hardware problem

I was wondering if anyone would know why my new iBook smelt like burnt electronics and the trackpad and headphone jack do not work. I used this for about one month and just now ran into problems.

mayb over heated?
best solution is to send the ibook back to the apple shop that u bought it fr..
