How much space do you really need for music on your iPod?

I have a mini and it is about 1/2 full, I'll admit I don't have a lot of music, but it is all legal... How much space have you managed to fill up on your iPod, I see people have 40gb iPods, that is an insane amount of space, do you actually fill it?

I have 27 gigs full on my 30.

18.5 on my 20 (that's max).

When I get my 20gb, I will have about 7gb to put on it right away.

I have a 10gb completely filled and a 20 gb with 4.5 available

I have a mini that's 1/3 full, but I only actually seriously started listening to music 2-3 months ago. My library has already doubled in the last month.

I have about 28.81 GB on my 3G 40 GB iPod

I have my mini 1/2 full with music, comedy shows and books

I only have 4.7 filled on my 10g

At the moment, 5.5GB on my 20, but I've got a pile of CDs next to me I'm working through. I'm doing them again because I imported them on my PC using a 12-bit sound card, so it didn't sound as good as it does with the 16-bit on my PowerBook.

10GB on my 4G 20GB, 800MB on my wife's Mini (doesn't listen to many songs, lol)

It would be even more interesting to hear all of you say how much is on your iPods and the size of your iPods and the percentage of legal music on those iPods I have a LOT of music, but don't have that much on my iPod, mine is all legal though I just fill up the rest of the space on my iPod with a backup from my computer for all my business stuff
