I couldn't think of another title... or place to put this. It's about hardware but about ALL hardware on any computer.

If I wanted to read/learn more about how hardware all works together (I can do software currently just fine... figure that stuff out, but hardware just confuses me, so many acronyms and numbers!), where should I go to learn that. Is there a good site? Or should I read an A+ certification book... I have one, just I don't know if I should go right into reading something of that level. I do know what a processor is.. RAM.. and a hard drive, but front bus speed and all that kinda confuse me. I'm rather behind on knowledge in this area... and have never found a good place to learn! Thanks

And to make it fit this forum for MBP... matter or glossy? ;) I'm jk, don't need to answer that.

A few websites to take a look at:

http://www.tomshardware.com
http://www.anandtech.com

...and one of my all-time favorites...

http://www.arstechnica.com

I addition to studying up on the hardware aspect of the A+ certification, if you're truly interested in computer hardware, Maximum PC magazine does a decent job on covering the hardware landscape. Occasionally, they print some articles to catch up newbies as well.
