Hello all,

I am looking to make a presentation (like powerpoint on windows) using my mac for the first time. I do not believe I have Iwork on my new macbook pro, but does it come with any software to create professional presentations? If not, does anyone have any recommendations for a free software package that would allow me to do this?

Thanks for the help,
Derek

Your Mac should have came with trial versions of iWork and Office, both of which contain presentation software. You can also download the free NeoOffice and use its presentation software, though I personally find Keynote (iWork) and Powerpoint (Office) to be far superior.

IMO Keynote is the best and slickest presentation software out there

But if you really cannot buy it - the NeoOffice will be fine, you just don't get apples nice templates
