Is there a way to publish your iCal calendar to a google calendar for others to see? If it is, is there a way others can edit that calendar on google calendar and have it update on your iCal?

But isn't there a way to do it without downloading a whole other program? Can't you just do it with iCal???

I just don't get it....Apple and Google play so nice with each other...how does this functionality not yet exist? In fact, Google just announced a sync with Outlook and GCal a few days ago:

I find it very odd that I can't find a open-source solution to the problem (or that it already isn't built into Entourage/iCal).

Yeah that program looks great, I'd just like to not spend the money. Anyone know of a free option or if google is planning on releasing something for the mac soon?

I just signed up at Plaxo.com and it seems to work really well and it's free. I've used it to sync ical and address book to thunderbird on another computer, but I think it works with google too.
