New Security Update after Safari 3.1

I just ran Software Update for kicks and now there is a new security update available.

I was just gonna post about that. Did you see how big that darn update is? 105MB a bit on the huge side don't you think?

I was just gonna post about that. Did you see how big that darn update is? 105MB a bit on the huge side don't you think?

What machine was this on? iMac G5 was around 50 Megs. Did not even notice Intel Mini but it was not that large. I think 55 Megs.

Big Security update for Tiger too.....along with Safari 3.1....we older OS users didn't get left behind !

Big Security update for Tiger too.....along with Safari 3.1....we older OS users didn't get left behind !

That really makes me happy that they are still fully supporting Tiger like that. In the past us older OSX owners had to use a very outdated Safari. Happy Apple is being a bit more fair to 10.4 users.

Oh dtravis, I was wondering all along, will Apple make Safari 3.1 available for us Tiger users.....as my iMac can only go as high as Tiger.....however my eMacs will be treated to Leopard probably middle of next month cause well, they should be able to run it....but yeah, glad to see Apple didn't leave Tiger in the dust with Safari and also the security update they did up, nice touch.

I guess may be Tiger needed the bigger update. Are you running Leopard dtravis? that might be why you got a considerably smaller patch.

Yes 10.5.2 Leopard.
