please pardon the cryptic subject heading. i couldn't find a tidy way to summarize this question.
a while ago i asked if anyone knew how to imbed an image inside a folder - as you see in some application installer folders for example - in a way that it would be retained when it was passed to another computer.
nobody answered that.
now i'm wondering if anyone knows how to slice up an image into a grid of component images which would form a complete large image inside a folder. can anyone suggest a way to do this - either way? how to cut it up etc.
