I use a unipass digital certificate for accessing various websites. I have recently switched and had no problems with the certificate in windows internet explorer.

I have imported the certificate into key chains and verified it as safe BUT when I use safari or firefox I cannot gain access to the websites. In fact the certificate is not even picked up.

Even though I have switched I am finding that I have to keep going back into the dreaded windows world for business tasks.

Can someone please offer some input. Thanks advance

Did you export the cert from IE to OS X? Some certs are not exportable.

Is it a .cer, or .pfx? Is there a blue + on the cert in the keychain?

Can you reacquire the cert directly into the keychain from the website?

Hi MacsWork thanks for the reply.
Yes i did export it from IE to OS X. The guy on the help desk said this would be OK but he couldnt help me with mac.

Also it shows a blue + now that I have somehow got keychain to accept it but still dosnt pick up the certificate.

Finally i recall when I installed it in to IE it was a matter of simply clicking a link to install the certificate to IE.

So what would you suggest next.....??
