Green iChat light wont turn off?!

Since a couple of days ago, the green light next to the webcam wont turn off. Also the webcam only displays black now, so it hasn't worked since the light came on. what do i do?

Did you attempt to restart the system?

What OS are you running?

It happens from time to time with my MB as well. Restarting won't do anything. You need to fully shutdown and then power on again.
