iBook G4 hard drive upgrade

so i have an ibook g4 right now and the hardrive had recently started to act up as in i can turn it on and it will boot up to the blue screen and then stop sometime it will let me log in and then it will freeze after a few moments... i tried reinstalling the os last nite and still doing the same thing... fsck -y also doesnt work either it says there is nothing wrong. i have tried booting and running the hardware tests with the os cd but it still freezes part of the way through. so im looking to upgrade and was wondering what hard drive i can use sata? or eide? it will be a seagate 160gb..

the specs on the laptop are as follows:

its a ibook g4
1064mhz processor
768 ram
30bg hd right now
and the combo drive...


any help would be appreciatted

it will be an ATA drive (not SATA)

Bump up that ram with a gig chip, life will be better!
