Deleting SPAM without clicking on it?

hey there,

is there anyway to delete spam coming into the Mail App without clicking on it first? i know you can do the "command+click" to select multiple items but you still have to click on at least one item of spam first. just dont want any viruses or whatev. thanks.

Clicking on it isn't going to do anything.
Even if you were to receive a harmful attachment, you would have to actually open the attachment first. Then activate the root account, then choose a program to run it with... and then give it permission to run before anything bad would happen.

Ditto what D3v1L80Y said. It takes at least several clicks to install malware.

Also, once the Junk filter is trained sufficiently, you can have it automatically remove spam that it catches.
