Since a while my MBP does not go into sleep while it stays opened.
It sleeps perfectly when I close it and wakes up after opening.

Although my Energy settings seem to be perfect, every-time I forgot to close my Backbook Pro, I find it with a empty battery when I come back.

Very annoying.

Thus:
Energy settings normal,
before no problems,
while closing no problems,
only it does not sleep while MBP stays opened.

HELP!

Mine has done the same thing since installing leopard. Can't wait to see if there is an answer.

Today I went to the Apple store, they advised me to install Leopard again.
Well, that might be the last solution I can try, but first try other this before.

Does that mean do a format and install or just reinstall? Let me know if you other efforts have any results...

I had this problem with my MacBook Pro, Turned out Diggupdater was keeping it from going to sleep as it was always querying for stories.
