Yes, I have had problems as well. There is another thread started saying it has something to do with DNS, but I am not savvy enough to figure it out.

I did the following and it seemed to fix the problem. Not sure exactly why though.
Found this in a thread talking about the problem. Adding the OpenDNS DNS server addresses (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) to Network Preferences > Advanced > DNS.
I found out that the DNS server addresses come from
http://www.opendns.com/
