Hi guys,
Tried to reset my macbook back to tiger using my install discs today and well its all gone pear shaped.
It was all going fine, first disc went well, put in the second disc and it says there was an error installing the software and to try again.
I have tried it at least 3 times and it always hangs on 53%, discs are in good condition and I cant think of a way to fix this.
Holding C when booting does nothing and the mac just asks for disc 2.
Can I format the hard drive from here and install using my external HD backup of the discs?
