PowerMac G4 Quicksilver, 20" widescree // iMac 24" 2.4GHz Dual
Hi everyone,
my second post on here, got a problem.
My Mac G4 Quicksilver is passworded and i need to install OSX Tiger on it. I can't do this because I havnt a clue what the password is, everytime i insert the Tiger DVD it says i need to reboot, so i click this and then it asks me for an authentification password. I dont need any of the data on the drive so a full format is not out of the question, so any instructions on doing this would be good too. Is there any way to bypass the password, i dont want to replace the HD because it was expensive and is a genuine apple 120GB.
I trust i will get some help on this one, this forum seems to be one of the best.
Many thanks.

Ive just checked it but i found the answer on the help viewer installed on is OS. Had a few problems with getting it too boot without asking me for a password but everything seems ok now.
cheers
