iBook vertical lines

hi

i've an ibook g4 and its suddenly gone flickering screen with vertical
shuddering lines going all through the display like interference on an old tv?

is my display crashing or is there anything i can try?

any help appreciated

Oof, sounds like the logic board to me. You may be screwed.

There are fixes to the dreaded logic board failure. Simple: pressure on the graphics chip. If this doesn't work: heat graphics chip assembly to reconnect solder.
