Introducing iPod Touch HD! It's the really big version of the current Touch!
(As you can see, I am HORRIBLE with photoshop, so excuse the... horribleness)

I'd like it if there were a way to make it slide open.... or at worst fold open.... I unno how they'd get the seam to line up prporly... but I like being able to keep my stuff safe in my pockets

Those last icons literally made my laugh out loud! Other than those, I think you did a great job on the photoshopping.

Reminds me of those Archos players.

Why would you get rid of the dock connector? It's not an iPod without one

If it's not going to fit in my pocket, why bother?
With something that big, the needs to be an actual pull down or flip out QWERTY keyboard.

With something that big, a virtual keyboard can't be that hard to use.

No, but an actual keyboard with keys that have feedback are a lot easier to type on.

Introducing . . . iPod Touch, Discman edition!

weight? only 2 pounds light.
battery life? probably poor. And...do you charge it wirelessly? :D
no syncing? probably wireless, right?
someone should photoshop up a belt holster accessory for this baby. That would be lolz 4 sho. :p

Rather than this, I think they could keep the Touch the same size, and add Remote Disk capability to it.

Good golly, does it come with a hand truck?
Remember that cell phone from 'Lethal Weapon'? He had to take it out of his car. It had a squiggly cord, tethered to a briefcase.

Optical drives use physically moving parts = battery killer. I'd rather see card reader slots instead. Perhaps USB and Firewire ports.

Cool idea though, and thanks for sharing!

I'm pretty sure within the next 3 years they'll have worked out how to make it hover.

Seriously though, I'd agree with you - I don't see a hard disk as being an 'upgrade' to anything now. We're starting to see solid state drives as options for laptops now. Admittedly they're very expensive options, but the days of the spinning drive in small gadgets have to be numbered.
