i got my mac from a guy off craigslist. i got it home and it began getting i think a 750mb update. after this update was installed when it restarted it stopped at the grey screen with the apple. i am able to get into my "BIOS" but i have no cds no nothing. i mean i paid $50 for it but still i expect it to work.
after i get into the bios is there a way to actually make it boot. what do i do to make it work?

What are the specs of the eMac?

Your title says Leopard...does the eMac have Leopard on it?

yes it has OS X 10.5 Leopard. the official non hacked version. it worked until i finished installing an update and then it would not restart all the way. I left it on when i left this morning around six and i do not know if it has booted yet or not. I have no cds because i got it from a guy off craigslist. it worked for about 9 hours then i installed this update and it has not worked since. so far

You can try resetting the PRAM by booting and immediately holding down the command, option P and R keys all at the same time immediately after the boot. If no joy you will need to purchase a Leopard install DVD and see if you can boot from that by putting in the disc, and holding down 'C' immediately after the chime.

Be aware 1.25GHz eMacs have huge problems with leaking capacitors which cause system freezes and other problems. Here is a link on this:-

You could also buy a retail copy of Leopard...

And if Leopard came on the eMac it without the install disc, it is an illegal copy regardless.
