Two problems

I have teo problems that are annoying me. One is that when I plug in my iPods to charge. the computer will go to "sleep" after awhile and stop charging the iPods. Is there a way to fix that?

Also, whenever I start up the computer now Microsoft Word comes on. How can I stop that from happening?

Any help would be appreciated.

Either there is a prefrences setting for Office in Office, or you need to take it out of the startup folder.

As for charging, here is the path: Apple Menu>System Prefrences>Energy Saver

I found the Energy Saver and fixed that, still looking for the preferences in Word. Does anyone know where to find it? Also, where would I find the start-up folder?
