Magsafe charger wont work anymore

13" MBP, 2.53 Ghz, 4 Gb Ram, 500 Gb HDD
i have a 3 year apple care warranty. Would i qualify for a new charger? How would i go about doing it? The closest apple store is about 90 miles away.

Yup. Give AppleCare a call. They'll take your credit card details and ship you a new adapter. Then you need to ship the old adapter back to them or they'll charge your credit card for it.
