I have an iPad that has email that was downloaded via POP3.

Is there any way to copy that email off of the iPad and into Outlook?

If the email messages were left on the server and depending on who your ISP is, you may be able to re-download directly into Outlook. That would be one way.

You could forward it to the email address for Outlook. If it's the same as the iPad, just don't open your mail on the iPad until you receive it in Outlook.

Another alternative:

1. Get an IMAP account, like maybe the me.com account that will be offered by iCloud in the fall.

2. Forward your POP account to it.

3. Never have to think about this ever again.

but what about if the iPad is the only source of the POP3 mail and the mail has been removed from the server. Is there anyway to transfer that mail into an IMAP account on the iPad or use some sort of Sync software to transfer it to Outlook or Mail?

If it's been removed from the server, just forward it to your new IMAP account.

but then all the mail will come from the user and not the person itself. Is there a way to copy the actual email?
