My husband and I both have an IMAC, mine is a year old,his just a bit older.
Both of us use the e-mail program that comes in our IMAC.
We both have e-mails we cannot delete.
We have both tried everything for weeks, they will not disapear.
Once when I said 'mark as trash' it did disapear, only to reappear again later.
I know this isn't a big issue, but frustrating because we cannot fix it.

I dont know if it means anything, but both e-mails are blank.

Looking forward to a solution.

To delete a single email, select it, right click and then select "delete".

To select multiple emails, hold down the "command" key as you select them and then right click and click "delete".

That's how I do it.

Please tell me that works.

I too had a totally blank email that I couldn't get rid of. I went to Mailbox/Rebuild and rebuilt my Inbox. The blank email disappeared and didn't come back.

I get that problem once in awhile also. Another solution is to highlight the email that won't delete and click on edit in the menu bar and select "cut". That should also delete it doing it that way. It's always nice to know more than one way to solve a problem.
