Upgrade to iCloud?

Anyone managed to get the upgrade from MobileMe to iCloud to work yet?

It seems to be permanently too busy to work for me

I have successfully upgraded the Mac to 10.7.2 first.

(Not sure if this counts as part of the OS X or as an Application)

I did, however... iCloud seems to be as, or less, reliable than Mobile Me was on it's introduction.

My guess is that this is US only.

I have tried again and again - with no luck

On a related note - anyone risked updating an iPad1 to iOS5 yet? Given the problems I had with iOS4, I am not looking forward to this :Smirk:

To be fair to Apple, I have to admit that my iMac and AppleTV2 have both updated smoothly and without problems

Apple - Support - iCloud - System Status

I suspect the sign-in slowness may be partially at fault. I've heard nothing about this being US only.

I got it to work eventually. All seems to be OK except the Calendar on iCloud does not show my Google calendars, although they do show up in iCal on the Mac and on the iPad.

Any thoughts please? Do I need to add them again? $:\$

While I have not played with google calendar integration at all, you may need to remove the settings to publish to google and readd them. We ran into similar issues with ical shared calendars recently, and this has resolved the issues.
