What kind of issues with your ps3? You should just search for networks, find it and then plug in the password.

As far as accessing the router, type in: 192.168.1.1 into your browser and then enter the name and password.

Don't different router brands use different IPs, or is this a standard?

To the OP:

baggss is correct. You should first take a look at the manual or on line instructions for your router. And then connect an ethernet cable from the router to your Mac. Without the cable connected, if you mess something up in settings you'll lose communication with the router.

You need the ethernet cable connected as advised earlier.
