Hello,

i have a problem. Ive installed stcc the game2 on my vmware fusion on my mac book pro 13''. Ive installed also power iso cause the game was image. The installation process was fine, ive manage to see at the end all the files installed. Now when i click on the icon the game activates the game configurator which asks you for the standard things like resolution, refreshing rate, color type video accelerator and so on. After i click on the window ok without any changes in it ...the game doesnt start, i dont even get the game window showed on the taskbar, it seems like there's not even a process starting.

Btw the os version is windows 7 , which i installed without any problems....for the rest its fine, it works nice on the mac

any suggestions ?? Thanks in advance :):)

What are the system requirements for that game? It's possible the game needs to be installed in native Windows not a VM. In other words instead of using Fusion, setup a dual boot using the Boot Camp assistant.

STCC The Game 2 System Requirements | System Requirements

This are the system requir. I think that my macbook pro fullfils them good enough... But indeed im gonna try with boot camp :)

Chances are that won't run on VMWare Fusion. VMs are great for most applications, but anything that requires heavy duty GPU acceleration isn't going to run.

Also, just because your Mac meets the system requirements, doesn't mean your virtual machine does. For example, VMWare Fusion defaults a new Win7 VM at 1GB of RAM. Most Windows 7 machines ship with a minimum of 4GB, and modern games are designed around the aggregate system requirements of a contemporary system.

If you have a game like this that wants to bang directly on the hardware, your best bet is going to be installing Windows 7 directly on your system, by way of Boot Camp.
