not all fonts shown in photoshop

hi all,

i have approx 700 fonts in my fontbook. but when i go into photoshop i cant use them all, only goes up to letter "M"

anyone know how i can get them all there.??

any help appreciated,

You need a font management utility, I would think. Not to mention that it probably would help in speeding up the system, as too many fonts open at the same time can bog down your Mac.

There are a few alternatives, to name just a few: Suitcase, FontExplorer X, FontTools.

cool i will download it after work, so do i use that instead of fontbook,? do i just import them into fontexplorer??

Al iMac 20" 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Ignore Fontbook and ask FontExplorer to import all your fonts. Then you can just go through and activate what you need.

No don't delete FontBook. Just keep it, it won't prevent FontExplorer X from doing its job.

And glad I could help and you got it sorted.
