Hello. This is my first post. Simple question.

On Mac OSX 10.7 how do you bypass the compatibility requirements.

Details: My brother needs to install Logic Pro 10.7, but you need 10.8 for it.

Is there any way to allow the installation?

There is no version 10.7 of Logic Pro. I assume you meant the newly released Logic Pro X. The answer is no. It requires 10.8, and that's likely because 10.8 has some core underlying features that Logic Pro relies on.

Yes haha. I miswrote. Logic pro 10. Really... It always seemed to me like those compatibility popups were just to get people to buy a mac upgrade, rather than actually meaning that the program couldn't literally run on that OS. Well, what if you disabled GateKeeper.

Just pay the $20 bucks to download it! If you're messing around with Logic Pro 10...you can surely afford $20 bucks!;)

10.8 has many internal changes. It's just not a facelift to the desktop and a few added features. There are many changes to the Core. I am sure Logic Pro is needing those to run.
