Macbook Pro, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD
I think that Lion requirements are software based (please do correct me if I am wrong) so could you tell us what version you are running?

I think that anything above 10.5.0 is compatible with Lion

You'll need to bump that up to 2, 4 would be even better.

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Keep in mind that your model Macbook can only utilise just a tad over 3GB (if I recall correctly, it's 3.03).
I'd still get 2x2GB as it is best to have matched RAM.
