i phone stuck on connect to itunes

hi i have a i phone 4 that is dead untill i plug it into the computer then it is stuck on the screen connect to itunes, itunes dose not recognize the iphone, i have tryed holding the the home and sleep together and it just resets itself to the same screen is there out i can do?

if it is broken is there any way i can recover my pictures from the phone or have i lost all them aswel?

Is it still under AppleCare warranty? Have you tried connecting the iPhone to multiple computers?

No its not under warranty as i have had it over 2yr and i have tryed it on windows and on a mac and both computers dont see it

Plug it into the computer, then hold home and power till it shuts off. Then let go of the power button and see if it goes into recovery mode. Have you tried a different cord on the iPhone?
