I own a PS1, but I'd rather play games on my computer. I have tried downloading a PS1 emulator, but I'm really confused as to how to make it work. If I download a game, what is the next step? How about getting the disc image or whatever? Can anyone help walk me through how to make it work? Thank you so much!

Emulation isn't illegal if you own the original system though.

Actually, any technology that requires reverse engineering or the breaking of encryption technologies would be illegal under the DMCA.
