Hi,
I have just ordered a Macbook C2D 2.0Ghz (refurb) and am wanting to order a 2GB stick or RAM. I am looking on Crucials website but it has a few model numbers and I'm not sure which one is correct.
The Macbook I have ordered is, I think, is the latest revision (Nov '07??). It has the 800mhz FSB, upto 4GB RAM and the GMA X1300 144mb onboard video. I would try the serial number method but its not arriving for 2 weeks and I want t order the RAM and a bigger HDD now to put straight in when I get it.
The model numbers Crucial quote are:
MA700LL/A
MB061LL/A
MB061LL/B

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kris

Don't know either by the model #'s. But if you select each of those and then take a look at the specs Crucial provides, the third one (/B) is the only one that supports 4GB.

Thanks mate, I'd not noticed that. I shall order it now. Screw paying Apples ridiculous RAM prices!

right! Apple ram is crazy expensive.. $1000 for 4GB is absolutely ridiculous. I got mine from tiger direct for $75.
