Hi,

I am having a problem with Firefox, this seems to follow some other software problems I had recently where I needed to speak to Apple Support, however, this is the only issue remaining.

I have attached a screen shot which shows the problem.

I have tried an uninstall/reinstall of Firefox, but the same issue. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Richard

Are you running some anti-virus and/or 3rd party firewall?

Get rid of it.

I "assume" you have clicked on the 'Learn More' button there and already followed their advice?

Hi, thanks for the swift reply. Nope, no AV or Firewall.

Yup - clicked the Learn More, and its not really helpful at all, directs you to a page which gives some instructions, but does not resolve the issue.

Well, you've got to determine what application is not letting Firefox access the files it's looking for. What else is running? Take a look with Activity Monitor.

Is this the page you were led to from Firefox? Have you successfully rebuilt your Places DB?
