Can't empty Wastebasket

Dear Members

Help please. I've got over 6200 files in the wastebasket which I can't delete as it states some of them are locked. I've tried everything from deleting the unlocked files to trying to identify the ones causing me a problem but the no avail.

The wastebasket deletion window closes after about 5 seconds

I have a Mac book air with Lion 10.7 OS

Open up Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/) and enter the following (copy and paste this): Press enter, enter your password (it won't show up while you're doing this) and press enter again.

I was thinking that maybe I should change my name to "Bugattismith" but then I saw this van.

Is that supposed to be some sort of a pink Transformer that is yet to be discovered?
