I'm unable to send documents in Pages to a PC. They are unable to open them. Is there a way to fix this problem without buying new software? If I convert it to a png document and send that, will they be able to open it?

You can export a pages document to Word or even PDF

Saving as a PNG would be pointless, try Pages export options and send a word doc

Pages documents are glorified folders IIRC. You will therefore need to export it as another format. If the other person doesn't need to edit it, you could send it as a PDF. If the other person needs to edit it, you can send it as a Word document.

Saving Pages as PNG

Why would you want to send a text document as an image? >_>"

Here is a reason
I wrote a Christmas letter with pictures and I want to make it readable to any computer. Not everyone has Pages or Word.
I thought there might be a workaround to save Pages to PNG or JPEG so it's usable to all. RTF loses the formatting. Can anyone help?

Thanks

PDF is your answer. Export the document to PDF - most, if not all, of your recipients will be able to read PDFs (and if not, PDFs readers are easy to install).
