Since I upgraded my MacBook from Tiger to Leopard, I can't play PowerPoint files. When I double-click on one, the PowerPoint "P" starts its bouncing, then the download status bar shows, then a blank screen and nothing - I have to reboot. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. TIA.

What version of PowerPoint are you using?

Do any of the other Office applications (Word, etc.) work?

My PowerPoint is version 11.3.5. Microsoft says there are no updates to it.

Word, Excel and Entourage work fine. SOME .pps files I can play... others (most of them) freeze my MacBook.

Think your problem is the upgrade issue with Leopard. Erase and install has far less problems.

Run uninstall from your MS Office disc and do a clean install znd let us know how you go.

I hope you mean uninstall and re-install PowerPoint, not Leopard?

Have you tried uninstalling Office?
