Hello. First it was Apple TV, then iPhone, and now I am slowly converting everything...
What I have all purchased within last month:
Mobile:
MacBook Air
iPhone 4
Home:
Mac Mini with connected 6-gig firewire drive, connected to my TV.
Apple TV gen 2, connected to my TV.
AirPort extreme
Win 7 PC
Work:
Synology with static IP
Win 7 PC
What I want:
1. store iTunes on 6-giger (I store all movies there, too) and access it from anywhere: work, home, starbucks, iPhone
2. store my extensive photo collection on 6-giger (~3 gigs of photos and videos i've made through the years. yeah, i know)
Would you recommend a setup where Mac Mini runs a VPN of sorts and my Air connects to it from anywhere?
What is better to use, Picasa (which is what I use on Windows) or iPhoto? I have... ah... about a million photos, literally.
