I'm trying to sync my iPod Touch 32Gb (which has been working perfectly) with my Mac Pro, and I'm getting the following message

"itunes could not connect to the iphone because an invalid response was received from the device"

Both the iPod touch and iTunes are at the latest version as of Monday, but now it will not connect/sync.

Any idea's what caused this, and how to resolve it?

Thanks

I found the solution while searching google for "ipod touch reset"

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1394

The third option (below) worked for me.

Apple Support said:
...turn off iPod touch and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPod touch for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

I know I'm replying to myself, but this is just in case anyone else gets the problem and searches the forum. ;D
